It provides excellent lubricity and anti-wear properties, and protects tools from corrosion, even in severe water wash conditions. It also has high oil film strength and provides effective lubrication.

Shell Omala S4 WE 460 is an advanced synthetic heavy duty industrial worm drive gear oil. It is formulated using polyalkylene glycol base fluids and additives. It is an ISO VG 460 grade Advanced Syththetic Industrial Gear Oil. It is a polyglycol (PG) based fully synthetic oil. It offers outstanding lubrication performance under severe operating conditions, including improved energy efficiency, long service life and high resistance to micro-pitting.

Total Vestan PAG Gear Lube 460 is a food-grade lubricant with an ISO viscosity grade of 460. It is a semi-synthetic gear oil with friction modifiers to provide high performance and long life. It is suitable for lubricating closed industrial gears, including spur, bevel, and worm gearing. Some oils can also be used for simple hydraulic systems.
