It is pre-charged with supplemental coolant additives (SCAs) and pre-diluted to a 50/50 premix level with high quality water. It is designed to protect against winter freeze up and minimize the chance of summer boil over.

Shell Rotella ELC NF Red 50-50 is an ethylene glycol-based antifreeze/coolant that is designed for commercial and passenger car engines that use diesel, gasoline, natural gas, propane, LPG, or methane based waste. It is a fill-for-life, pre-diluted carboxylate based coolant that is ideal for a fleet with both gasoline and diesel engines. Shell Rotella ELC NF is a ready to use antifreeze-coolant that does not require any SCA additions and is suitable for mixed fleet applications.
